Budapest Wine Festival

Hungary is famous for its wine culture and has internationally known products just like Tokaj and Bull’s Blood (Bikavér) wines.  The Budapest Wine Festival takes places annually in a scenic setting in Buda Castle. The aim of the event is to expand the scope and get wine lovers know about more producers, brands and products.

This year the 26th Budapest Wine Festival awaits visitors with 200 domestic and international exhibitors and thousands of different wine. The guest country this year is Chile. This is the place where wine meets culture. The high toned professional programs are accompanied by musical performances. Popular singers and bands along with young talents make the event unforgettable.

Wine Festival in Buda Castle

Tickets are available online, in advance – this way you can avoid queuing. The ticket includes a tasting glass in a keep. Exclusive, limited edition Stölzle crystal glasses are to be bought only in advance with Budapest Wine Festival tickets.

Budapest Wine Festival Programs:

Set table: it’s possible to reserve lunch or dinner table at Budapest Terrace at the Baroque Gate. Set 3 course menu with 3 glasses of wine.

Harvest Parade: on 10th September, the traditional Harvest Parade followed by a Folk Music and Folk Dance Gala on Budapest Wine Festival’s main stage

Charity Auction: 13th September, the annually held auction in favour of the Hungarian Maltese Charity Order

Budapest Wine Festival Tickets:

Daily tickets: 3200 HUF
4-day ticket: 6000 HUF

Daily ticket includes 1 crystal tasting glass, 1 carrier bag for the tasting glass, free entry to the permanent exhibitions of the Budapest History Museum and a wristband with unlimited exit and re-enrty for 1 day for 1 person.
